Helmat the wheel since island one

Every sea, one cartridge

One price opens all seven seas at once, not one at a time. Three islands of free water, from wherever you land — and always will be.

$29once, per person · yours to keep

The demo is the same game: ten cards dealt from a real cartridge, graded the same way, with the answer on every miss. Nothing is saved and nothing is asked for.

You buy it once

$29 opens every exam sea, the platform stack and the tender, and that is the end of it — nothing renews, nothing lapses, and there is no per-sea price to add up. The cartridge also keeps growing: every card written after you buy is already yours, so the deck you own next year is larger than the one you paid for.

Setting a crew up

Start a crew on the crew page — it holds one berth until a plan is loaded. Buy that plan with the crew selected in the switcher, then invite people from the same page; berths fill as they accept, and a pending invite holds one.

The tender sails free

Fetch sails with you on every sea the cartridge opens. K9s has no exam, so it has no prep season, no readiness score and no countdown — just routes, par, and the strokes you took. That is a statement about its instruments, not about its price: the free taster is the demo.

things worth saying plainly

What is free, forever?
Three islands of free water, from wherever you land, and the demo. No card, no trial clock.
Is there anything to cancel?
Not for one berth — it is a single payment, not a subscription, so nothing renews and nothing lapses. Crew plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled any time from Manage Account.
Is this the exam?
No. The exams are hands-on — this is the recall layer that makes your lab hours count. Every card is original, blueprint-weighted study content, never exam questions.
Do I buy one sea at a time?
No. There is no per-sea price: the cartridge has always opened all of them — the exam seas, the tender, and Operator Convoy, the platform stack.
Is there anything for the tools around Kubernetes, not just the exams?
Yes. Operator Convoy is a cartridge with no exam behind it: the supporting cast a hardened cluster is built from — network and mesh, policy and admission, identity, secrets and pki, observability, runtime security, supply chain and registry, stateful services and backup and delivery and provisioning — with a blueprint, coverage, the drill and task chains graded on a simulated cluster. It is part of the paid cartridge; the free water is the exams' first islands and the demo.
